A distinctive rhythmic art form characterised by its precise beats and tones. A professional skill most commonly known for its improvisation, rhythms and syncopation. Tap is challenging for the body and mind, developing strength in balance, control and co-ordination. For the younger dancer Tap is a creative skill which uses and encompasses sound. For the more experienced dancer producing and accomplishing complicated combinations.
